FRAHM – Supporting Men’s Mental Health

FRAHM, the menswear jacket brand – are on a mission to start an honest and open conversation about men’s mental health, to increase awareness and to remove the negative stigma attached.

The topic of men’s mental health has been raised a lot in recent years.

From Prince Harry, through the Royal Family’s ‘Headstart’ initiative, to Professor Green – the UK rapper through his various interviews and BBC documentaries – these campaigns have helped to bring attention to the problem — which can only be a good thing, when you consider that men are 3x more likely to commit suicide than women.

So how does FRAHM fit into this?

Well. FRAHM’s Founder, Nick Hussey studied ergonomics at university, where he became fascinated by the way garments help or hinder movement. This fascination lead to him founding the cycling commuter brand Vulpine in 2012. Sadly, when the company folded in 2017, he suffered a nervous breakdown.

Having learnt some tough lessons about business, and his mental health, Nick founded FRAHM in 2018 to return to what he loves — making beautiful, functional clothes. As a result of his experiences, he decided to also support men’s mental health whilst doing it.
