Nutcessity Launches Peanut-Free, Natural, Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

South West startup, Nutcessity, has launched a natural, peanut-free, chocolate hazelnut spread.
Blended in the UK, with wholesome ingredients, Haz Braz is the 5th product launched in the Nutcessity range.
Sticking to a natural and organic recipe, it is made from hazelnuts, brazil nuts, cacao, and coconut without milk powder, added sugar or preservatives. A 100g pot contains only 7.3g of unrefined sugar. It’s high in fibre, a good source of protein, and is naturally dairy and palm oil free.
Due to the Founding Director, Mike Duckworth’s peanut allergy, all Nutcessity products are made in a peanut-free facility in England.

When asked what it taste like, he said:
“Like a whipped, nutty, coconut-infused, slightly sweet and slightly salted dark chocolate delight, in a jar. That’s what.”

Nutcessity’s packaging is plastic-free, certified by A Plastic Planet, and the ingredients are certified organic by the Soil Association. As a vegan, Mike says it’s important that a plant-based diet isn’t boring.

Nutcessity was founded in 2016 with the intention of making the finest, most trusted nut butter in the UK. Their walnut product is shortlisted for the Veggie Awards 2020, and their walnut and caramel cashew products are finalists in the Nourish Awards 2020.
The brand works with around 150 independent retailers in the UK and Nutcessity’s Chocolate Haz Braz Butter is currently available online and at Planet Organic from September 2020.
