Boost Your Immunity With Troo’s SuperBerry And Vitamin C Granola+

Troo SuperBerry Granola Granola+ Fruit Cereal

New research shows that 66% of consumers are considering changing, or have already changed their diet to a healthier one to minimise the risk of illness, COVID in particular.

Troo’s latest product – the Boost Granola+ SuperBerry and Vitamin C – is on trend for this reason. It was designed during COVID to give people a resilience boost at breakfast time.

The new product is the first gluten free and low sugar berry granola to hit the shelves. Each bowl contains 9g of fibre, is 15% protein (more than an egg) and has just 2g of sugar. It’s also vegan and is packed in plastic free pouches to reduce plastic waste.

“We’re really proud of our new Berry Troo Granola. Not only is it super healthy, but it’s super delicious too, proving that you don’t need to make compromises when choosing a better for you option.

Helenor Rogers, Co-Founder of TrooFoods

Troo began after the Founder, Helenor Rogers – searched the supermarket shelves for a low sugar granola for her son and struggled to find one. She decided to make it herself, which turned out to be popular with the family. That lead Helenor to her light-bulb moment — ‘rurely, there must be other people looking for the same thing?’

Armed with over 25 years’ experience in marketing, Helenor knew a thing or two about how to get her new product out there so, along with her husband, Mike, she used her skills to launch Troo’s debut product, a ‘Make Your Own Granola’ kit.

During their quest to find a low sugar ingredient to use in their granola products, they discovered chicory root fibre (aka inulin), a natural sweetener. They would later use this for other products.
