Belfast Coffee Company Launches New Range At Spar Titanic in Belfast

The Belfast Coffee Company has just launched its’ new range of coffee at the award-winning SPAR at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast.

Created during lockdown, The Belfast Coffee Company has teamed up with the local retail outlet to bring its 4th generation family recipe to market.

Roasted in the heart of industrial Belfast, this traditional coffee encompasses the culture and heritage of the city while appealing to the modern Belfast taste profile, as well as catering to local and international markets and offering a taste of the city.

The company started out of sheer passion for coffee thanks to an old family recipe originating in the early 1900s.

A shipwright named Robert Allan began roasting coffee beans in the shipyard and introduced it to other workers. Now Robert Allan’s grandson, Eddie Allan, is one of the founders of The Belfast Coffee Company and through the brand, he wanted to honour his family heritage.

As such, Eddie commented:

“Our coffee is a fourth-generation family recipe that originates from my great grandfather. Launching The Belfast Coffee brand at a time when we are facing further COVID restrictions allows coffee lovers the chance to experience the luxury of a small batch coffee brew from the safety and comfort of their homes.”

Having been honoured with the Food to Go Retailer of the Year award at the 2020 Convenience Awards, Andy Davis from SPAR Titanic welcomes Belfast Coffee as “an exciting time” for their store, adding “it is refreshing and inspiring to have a new product launch during the pandemic. It truly showcases the determination and resilience of the people throughout this country.

The new product is available on and on-shelf in the award-winning SPAR at the Titanic Quarter in Belfast.
