Stacks Of Goodness: New, Healthy Pancakes, By Sweetpea Pantry

Sweetpea Pantry has expanded its range, and announced the launch of their brand new sister company, and their delicious and healthy new protein pancake mix brand, Stacks of Goodness.

For many years, Sweetpea Pantry has become a kitchen staple for families across the UK, thanks to their range of better-for-you mixes, from favourites such as pancakes, pizza dough, flapjacks, brownies, carrot muffins and of course, waffles.

Next up: the Founders, Philippa Askham and Tanya Mitchell have just created new a range of three protein-packed pancake mixes. Unlike other competitors on the market, Stacks of Goodness focuses on offering all natural ingredients – and are low in sugar, gluten-free, and high in protein.

There are currently three core mixes within the new Stacks of Goodness range:

  • Strawberry Protein Mix: with freeze-dried strawberries,
  • Double Chocolate Protein Mix: with vegan dark chocolate chips,
  • Vanilla and Blueberry Protein Mix: with freeze-dried blueberries and vanilla protein.

Furthermore, the pancake mix(es) contain all-natural ingredients, (with wholegrain ingredients such as buckwheat, brown rice, teff, quinoa and flax), with the addition of vegan protein from Nutristrength and freeze-dried fruit, or dark chocolate chips. Simply add 2 eggs and 1 cup of milk, or to keep it vegan, 1 cup of plant-based milk with a mashed banana.

“Stacks of Goodness is the first UK-produced flavoured protein pancake mix range. It ticks all the boxes offering a gluten-free, plant-based, vegan pancake option that is high in protein, high in fibre and low in sugar while using nutritious wholegrain ingredients. We are excited to be part of the rapidly growing high protein category and offer consumers a great tasting, high protein breakfast alternative, that is the first of its kind in the UK.

They created Stacks Of Goodness in 2020, after thinking for some time about creating a brand new breakfast brand that offered healthier gluten-free choices for breakfast, and the focus on health during Covid, with meals moving towards more home-based setups, which gave them the impetus.

They already had a great pancake mix under their Sweetpea Pantry brand, but they wanted to make this one more interesting and more nutritionally-led, hence the addition of pea protein, freeze dried fruit.

Philippa and Tanya have known each other for 40 years, and they grew up together and followed each other around the world throughout their careers. Philippa worked in wine marketing, and Tanya worked in luxury hotel sales, but when they had children, they decided to focus their energy on creating great-tasting food company with a healthy angle, that was quick and easy to make at home.
