Aqua & Rock: Announced As A Finalist At The Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards, 2021

Sustainable fashion brand, Aqua & Rock has been shortlisted for the “Best Circularity Initiative” category at the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards 2021.

After recently launching their sustainable fashion collection and their chrome-free sustainable sneakers, the brand is now nominated for another award.

Last year, Aqua & Rock was named one of the winners of the Drapers Sustainable Fashion Awards 2020 for the award of “One To Watch,” and their shortlisting into this 2021 award showcases their dedication to their sustainable business model.

Aqua & Rock has built their brand with a central focus on sustainability, and their products use a mix of recycled, up-cycled, or repurposed fabrics to create collections that are sustainable and eco friendly.

The items are designed to last longer, and the customer can re-wear them in many different ways. Once the products are finished with, Aqua & Rock has made sure that they can either be recycled, up-cycled, or are biodegradable, so they can naturally disintegrate.

All dyes used to colour the items are also environmentally friendly, so they can naturally disintegrate back into the earth without any harm. Aqua & Rock’s circularity initiative also focuses on the packaging through to the factories they work with.

The brand is extremely thankful to Drapers for recognising the positive changes and the hard work put in to making sustainable changes to the fashion industry, and the winners will be announced at the Draper Sustainable Conference on March the 10th-11th.
