Ramona’s Launches THREE New ‘Heavenly Houmous’ Flavours Into Ocado This Month (April 2021)

Food brand, Ramona’s – is excited to announce that they are expanding their delicious range of Mediterranean food products. The brand is adding three new flavours to their ‘Heavenly Houmous’ range, and they’re launching them into Ocado this month (April 2021).

Last year, we covered Ramona’s plant-based houmous and falalel launch into Ocado. Now, the ‘no-nonsense,’ plant-based food brand is launching three new flavours: Ramona’s Beetroot, Red Pepper, and Jalapeno Houmous, – which will be joining their existing range of delicious, gluten free, vegan products. 

Including their best-selling Original Houmous, the new addition completes a truly ‘fantastic four’ line up. Their houmous, which is made using an authentic method, – uses freshly-boiled chickpeas, combined with sesame seed paste, herbs, spices, and other added ingredients, – to create a variety of delicious flavours. Each flavour has been chosen for specific criteria:

  • Beetroot is earthy and sweet.
  • Jalapeno comes with a lovely kick of heat.
  • Red Pepper is a strong family favourite, with sweet and tangy undertones.
  • And original Houmous is a classic, – flavoured with garlic and cumin.

Ramona’s new lines is be available to purchase from Ocado, in fantastic 500g family-size tubs, and on their website.

Ramona’s Heavenly Houmous launched in late August 2020, just before the M&S changeover. The houmous produced by Ramona’s uses an authentic family recipe, which has been in the Founder, – Ramona Hazan’s family for generations.

Ramona Hazan (formerly a computer engineer) started off by producing delicious houmous and falafel over fifteen years ago in her small kitchen (hence the name – Ramona’s Kitchen). In 2019, she took the plunge to launch Ramona’s, expanding the brand into various supermarkets.

Ramona’s has since grown massively, with a much bigger kitchen and product range that now includes houmous, falafels, vegan burgers, dips and sauces. Some of their products come with traditional recipes, and others come with a more contemporary, innovative twist.

The brand’s goal is to create delicious products for the whole family, catering for a number of dietary requirements, without compromising on taste and quality. Their products are proud to be accredited by the Vegetarian Society, certified as Kosher, and are Gluten-free, but most importantly – they’re made with love.
