War Paint For Men Has Entered Into A BRAND NEW Partnership With The Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club – For Their 2021 Season

War Paint For Men has announced a historic and game-changing new partnership with the Wigan Warriors Rugby League Club for their 2021 season – to break stigmas in the community when it comes to men’s mental health and male suicide.

The Wigan Warriors Rugby Club is located in a region with one of the UK’s highest male suicide rates. This new partnership is an essential move to break through stigmas in the community, and it also provides an innovative new way to start those all-important conversations about men’s mental health and male suicide – on and off the pitch.

War Paint For Men will be featured on training kits and warm-ups, but the true value of the partnership lies off the field, with both War Paint For Men, and the Wigan Warriors – teaming up to progress men’s mental health awareness, and challenge stereotypes.

As a brand, War Paint For Men gives men the choice/option (and the opportunity) to look and feel better, – with an underlying principle desire to improve male confidence, and to provide more choice when it comes to men’s image and personal care.

During the 2021 season, fans can expect some never-before-seen initiatives to help people suffering from mental health issues.

On speaking about the partnership, War Paint For Men’s Founder, Daniel Gray said:

I was inspired to create War Paint due to my own mental health struggles, and I couldn’t be more proud to see that our brand growth has resulted in us working alongside Wigan Warriors to help us address this issue. I can’t wait to unveil some of the ground-breaking initiatives we have planned to help people with mental health issues and raise awareness through the Rugby League community.”

In response, Wigan Warriors’ Executive Director, Kris Radlinski said:We are delighted to welcome War Paint For Men as our first ever designated Training Kit Partner and Official Men’s Health And Wellbeing Partner. After hearing Danny’s inspirational story and what he is seeking to achieve (which is about far more than just selling makeup), we realised that this partnership is a natural fit for the Club.

On the face of it, fans might not expect a rugby league team to be partnering with a makeup brand, – which makes this partnership even more important, as it brings with it – a vital opportunity to make a genuine difference to both sport, and the wider community.

Since launching in 2018, War Paint has received a phenomenal amount of attention from the press and is the first men’s make-up brand to have a fully stocked men’s makeup counter within the men’s section of major retailers, such as in John Lewis, Mr Porter and Harvey Nichols.

The business was founded by Danny Gray in 2018, and was born out of his own experience of being bullied for his acne as a teenager – which led him to start using his sister’s concealer and foundation to give himself confidence.

War Paint For Men also recently launched the World’s FIRST EVER makeup manual for men, courtesy of Daniel Gray.
