My Sweety Candle: The Start-up That Makes Sparkly Wax Melts, And Delicious Scented Candles

My Sweety Candle was established by a French entrepreneur named Sébastien Charrier. The brand creates beautiful, sparkly wax melts, and big, delicious, scented-candles.

Their innovative candles include(s): Vanilla Cheesecake, Jasmine, Sweet Banana, Snow Fairy and Blueberry + Vanilla. Their wax melts include(s): Candy Floss, Amber Noir, Fresh Laundry, Fresh Linen, Lemon Sherbet, and many other innovative, original scents.

Sebastien moved to London from France just four years ago to embark on a new journey in life, and to start a career in fashion retail.

As a buyer of scented candles himself, he quickly realised that he could never find the scent(s) he was looking for. His personal preference, included cheesecakes, carrot cakes, and cupcakes, – yet most of these scents were only available in the USA. And so he decided to launch his own business to fill an obvious un-met gap in the UK.

He then expanded his creativity (and his product range) into wax melts: ‘this is where I can be the most creative, and play with colours, glitters, marble effects, and design effects. My products are made with natural wax, – mostly soya or rapeseed and coconut.’ His scented candles also come in different coloured jars, and arrive with a personally hand-written thank you card from Sebastien, himself.

He said: ‘It has been so satisfying, to see my products in different houses, and to make people happy. I would love to showcase at a Christmas market at the end of the year, and in a few years, – my dream is to be able to live from my passion, and to open a small shop where I can talk to my customers face to face about my products, my brand, and my designs.“

Since launching, the brand has already serviced national and international orders, and their Blueberry + Vanilla candle has become a bestseller amongst candle enthusiasts.
