Nursem Has Just Launched Their BRAND NEW ‘Caring Hand Sanitiser’ Product

Nursem‘s BRAND NEW ‘Caring Hand Sanitiser’ is much more gentle on the skin than traditional alcohol-based hand gels, and it’s still effective against 99.99% of harmful viruses and bacteria.

Following six years of development (and £5,000,000 in investment), Nursem’s brand new ‘Caring Hand Sanitiser’ product is set to revolutionise how hands are sanitised: it uses expert technology that makes it as gentle for skin as water.

The product uses the purest form of Hypochlorous, – one of nature’s most effective anti-viral substances. Hypochlorous can also be found within the human immune system, acting as a vital form of defence to protect the user against germs and infections, whilst still being as gentle to skin as water.

Developed with nurses to help combat the effects of relentless hand-sanitising, this caring new formula is clinically-proven to be effective against 99.99% of harmful viruses and bacteria, minus the drying effects of alcohol-based hand sanitisers.

Using an alcohol-free spray application, the product is suitable for sensitive skin, and it can be applied onto your hands and rubbed together, ensuring that both hands (and around the fingers) are covered and left to dry naturally.

As well as being dermatologically tested and consultant dermatologist approved, the product is vegan, cruelty free, un-fragranced, a topical skin antiseptic (perfect for family toiletries and first aid bags), has a neutral pH level, and is non-flammable.

The product can also be used as an effective surface disinfectant for cleansing everyday items, such as laptops, shopping trolleys and surfaces, and it’s available in a 100ml format. From July 12th onwards, it will be available at/on SpaceNK online, and in select stores.

Nursem’s product range also includes other products, such as their Caring Hand Cream, their Caring Skin Fix, and their Caring Hand Wash to name a few.

As part of Nursem’s ongoing mission (their ‘Nursem Promise’), for each product sold, the brand will provide a month’s supply of hand care to an NHS nurse or midwife, – in order to combat the negative effects of excessive hand washing. To date, the pledge has helped over 250,000 nurses across the UK.

Nursem’s Co-Founder, Jonny Philp proudly said: “Since March 2020, hand sanitiser has become an essential item that everyone across the country uses daily, and as a brand that champions being kind to skin, we’re absolutely thrilled to launch our brand new Caring Hand Sanitiser after six years in the making.”

“Our formula is as gentle on the skin as water, and whilst being alcohol-free, it provides better protection than alcohol-based gels that can be rather drying to skin. We’re excited to hear what the UK thinks about our latest caring innovation, which we’ll also be giving back to NHS staff for every product purchased, through our Nursem Promise.”

Gosforth-based (Newcastle) skincare brand, Nursem, – was launched in 2019 (which was developed by a nurse – for nurses), – after a successful campaign on Crowdfunder, by a paediatric nurse called Antonia, – and her husband Jonny, after she suffered with sore, cracked and bleeding hands as a result of constant hand-washing, which had forced her to take sick leave.

The bleeding conditions turned her into one of the shocking 87% of nurses in the UK, who suffer(s) from contact dermatitis as a result of excessive hand washing, which is estimated to cost the NHS up to £9m a year.
