‘Conscious House London’ Has Recently Rebranded To ‘Scintilla,’ Following On From A New Ownership Change

Conscious House London (the 100% natural skincare and toiletries brand, – that’s striving for zero waste and plastic-free alternatives), has recently rebranded to Scintilla, – following on from a successful new ownership change.

Originally launched in 2019 as ‘Conscious House London’ by Rebecca Dallimore and Nicolle Barreiros, the brand has recently gone through a successful new ownership change, where they rebranded to ‘Scintilla’ (pronounced ‘skin-til-uh’): Rebecca Dallimore will now lead the company by herself, – as a solo Founder. As part of this new move, the brand is also pursuing new sustainable business goals, followed by a new line of handmade, natural products.

Their initial product range features some of the old brand’s classic customer favourites, including:

  • Fresh-Faced Cleansing Milk,
  • Original Elderflower Lip Balm,
  • Bergamot + Lemongrass Hand Cream,
  • Green Clean Shampoo Melt,
  • And more.

Renowned for their 100% plastic-free products that smell good (and are good for the planet), Scintilla’s products are natural and ‘naked,’ – as reflected in the brand new Scintilla logo. Their products come in responsible packaging (in glass jars with an aluminium lid), – all of which have been recycled, or are recyclable. Also, Scintilla uses ONLY natural ingredients that are sustainably sourced.

We started with the goal of using our business to make positive change in the skincare sector, but over the last two years, our knowledge has grown. We’ve chased new sustainability goals, and we’ve outgrown the place we started from,” said Rebecca Dallimore, the Founder and CEO of Scintilla.

Whilst we’re still relatively small, we’ve taken the opportunity to reflect on our evolution and transform into something that shows where we now stand, and where we want to go from here,” she added. The Scintilla name was inspired by a Roman matriarch, a mother figure and an Earth-lover. Historically, Roman women were amongst the first to manipulate natural ingredients for the benefit of their skin and appearance.

And thanks to Rebecca’s corporate liaison officer role with SEED Madagascar (the sustainable development charity), 10% of her business’ profits will now go to the SEED charity, and MIND, the UK-based mental health charity. In terms of success stories to date, Scintilla has just been shortlisted for a Veggie Award in the ‘Cruelty-Free Skincare’ category, – for their Fresh-Faced Cleansing Milk.
