The Duchess Of Cornwall’s Favourite Designer, Fiona Clare, – Has Recently Launched Her New Ready-To-Wear Range

The award-winning fashion and couture designer, Fiona Clare (one of the Duchess Of Cornwall’s favourite designers), – has recently launched her brand new ready-to-wear collection, which was designed during lock-down, and is now available to buy online.

Fiona Clare has been creating and designing beautiful, bespoke, formal evening and bridal-wear for over 30 years. Her creations are so appreciated and renowned, that the Duchess Of Cornwall is regularly seen wearing Fiona Clare’s pieces.

Fiona’s passion for fashion began during childhood: she was inspired by her Mother and her Grandmother’s stylish and unique wardrobe. Her lifelong ambition was (and still is) to create exquisite, unique and perfectly-finished couture. In 2020 (during lock-down), Fiona designed her first online, luxurious ready-to-wear, silk capsule-collection, which comprises of beautifully-designed and cut kimonos, shirts, trousers, nighties and face coverings.

The new collection fulfils her lifelong ambition to build on the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout her career, and to create exquisite clothes which work with today’s lifestyle. Fiona worked with her team at her London studio: they use the finest silks, Liberty prints and crepes, which inspires confidence, and is designed to take its’ wearer anywhere.

“I am enormously proud of my first ready-to-wear collection. It’s been many years in the dreaming, and many months in the making. I believe that clothes must be refined and sophisticated without compromising on functionality, and this new collection is created with that at its heart. After cutting at our London atelier, each piece is meticulously made in the same handful of British workrooms that we entrust with our couture line,” said Fiona.
