Lash Ribbons: A UK-First: Create Affordable, Salon-Quality Lash Extensions At Home

Lash Ribbons is the lowest-priced, DIY-lash-extension system in the UK. The product is a UK-first, and it allows users to create salon-quality lash extensions in the comfort of their own home(s).

Each ribbon is created from joined-up lash segments, and is approximately 15-16cm in length. To ensure a natural look, the band is ultra-fine, and it features feather-light lashes. The lashes are applied underneath the lash-line to create the appearance of extensions, and can last between 10-14 days, and typically take around 10 minutes to apply.

To apply, simply cut off a segment, and apply it to your own lashes using a lash-bonding glue, and clamp them at the base for a few moments to secure the bond. You can choose to wear either a single layer for a subtle look, or stack them together to build volume. To build high volume lashes, simply repeat the process until the desired effect is achieved.

For example, if you were to double or triple stack the ribbons to create a Russian Hybrid or a Russian Volume look, it would typically cost between £60-£100 in a salon, whilst the Lash Ribbons equivalent costs approximately £3.50, AND the segments are reusable.

Lash Ribbons’ Founder, Rachael Hanley, said: “I am so excited about this new product. It truly is a game-changer within the lash extension industry. Since launching, our ribbons have been shipped to all corners of the globe, and our customers have become “obsessed” with the ribbons. Lash Ribbons are an affordable luxury, readily accessible to all.”

The Lash Ribbons range includes over 9 different lash styles, and 5 different lash lengths (45 unique ribbons in total, and limitless lash combinations available), giving the customer complete control over their appearance.

Lash Ribbons’ Founder, Rachael Hanley started out as a wedding-accessory entrepreneur 12 years ago, with her company Cherlaan Ltd. But during lock-down, her business suffered greatly, and so she applied for a Bounce Back Loan in 2021, and eventually, she launched her new lash brand, Lashes Out in February of this year, shortly followed by the launch of Lash Ribbons in June.

Rachael said: “I wanted to build a brand that my teenage daughter could eventually take over when I retire. I needed to find a product that she would be interested in, and one that would have a customer base that would reorder. I took upon the challenge of the false lashes, as it was a market I knew nothing about and saw it as a new challenge.”

Since launching, the company has already shipped its’ ribbons globally to various US states, Australia, Saudi Arabia, and to EU countries, including: Spain, France, Denmark, and Iceland.
