Hidden Fashion: The Affordable, Trendy, Birmingham-Based Fashion Brand (Worn By Love Islanders)
Founded in 2012, Hidden Fashion provides the latest trends for anyone and everyone (regardless of their budget), – with tops starting out as low as 99p.
Originally, Hidden Fashion owned 15 in-person outlets, before deciding to scale-back to an online-only model. Selling via eBay and Amazon has enabled them to pass on the savings made from their newly-found lower overheads to their customers, instead. Now, you can check out the entire collection on their online catalogue.
As a brand, Hidden Fashion focusses on helping customers to look good, without breaking the bank: perfect For university students, and/or cash-savvy shoppers.
Hidden Fashions’ Founder, Kiran Rall, – has long been a fashion enthusiast. She knew early on that fashion was the place she wanted to be. This was partly inspired by her mother, who used to make clothes for her when she was young. This deeply-rooted inspiration, coupled with her aim to provide stylish, yet affordable fashion for young people, – became her primary inspiration behind starting the business.
‘Since the age of 13, I knew fashion was the path for me,’ recalled Kiran: ‘The last few years have been hard on everyone financially, but this shouldn’t mean that individuals shouldn’t have fashionable clothes. I want young girls to feel confident in what they’re wearing, and believe that they shouldn’t have to pay a fortune to wear what they want, and express themselves. Fashion should be accessible for everyone.’
Now, Hidden Fashion proudly boasts over 300k Instagram followers, and their clothes have been worn by various Love Islanders, including the 2021, contestant Mary Bedford. More recently, the retailer teamed up with model and ex Lover-Islander, Kendall Rae Knight (who modelled their ‘ultimate summer collection’). The range also includes swimwear, dresses, and glamorous co-ords.
