Daniella Draper: Crowned ‘Mono-Brand Retailer of the Year,’ At The UK Jewellery Awards, 2021

The sustainable jewellery brand, Daniella Draper, – has scooped up the ‘Mono-Brand Retailer of the Year’ award for the second consecutive year, at the UK Jewellery Awards, 2021.

The brand was described by the judging panel as “authentic.” They were recognised for “creating genuine customer interactions in a great store environment.”

Daniella Draper creates bespoke jewellery by design. The jewellery is purely made in Britain by the brand’s Director, Della Draper, and her team.

Della commented on her brand’s second nomination: “We are honoured to be recognised for the second year running as ‘Mono-Brand Retailer of the Year,’ by the UK Jewellery Awards, 2021. It is so important for us as a business to have a physical presence on the high street, and to be able to interact with our customers.”

The award coincides with the announcement of two new boutiques in which Daniella Draper is due to open in the upcoming months, with one situated in Daniella’s neighbouring hometown of Grimsby (where the brand began in 2009), and the other, – in Chelsea, London.

This will be the first permanent Daniella Draper store to open in London after the success of their temporary pop-up in 2018/19, and the spacious store in London will be the perfect location for all fans of the sustainable jewellery brand in the South of England.

We are so excited to be opening not only another store in the North, – but to be finally branching out further South. We have a lot of online customers from London and surrounding areas, and it feels as though our London store has been a long time coming. To be located in the beautiful borough of Kensington and Chelsea is truly a dream come true,” she added.

The Grimsby store (22 Victoria Street, Grimsby DN31 1DG) is due to open at the end of September, followed by the London store (188a Kings Road, London, SW3 5XP) shortly thereafter.

Della Draper launched back in 2009. Now, over a decade later, the brand has 4 stores open across Northern England, a pop-up in Chelsea’s Duke of York Square in London, and a workshop and HQ in Lincolnshire, – all filled to the brim with wonderful, talented co-workers.
