Pip And Nut Is Launching #FashionToast 4 London Fashion Week

Pip & Nut are ‘bringing breakfast to the catwalk’ with their #FashionToast London Fashion Week comp. 5 people will win a year’s supply of peanut butter spread.

As the fashion industry’s elite prepares to descend on London for the long-awaited physical return of London Fashion Week, Pip & Nut are supporting the event by bringing breakfast to the catwalk, – inspiring the nation to fuel their bodies (and their Instagram feeds, of course) with the most photogenic toasts in town.

We’re a nation that eats on average, 2 MILLION kilograms of peanut butter each week, and nearly 290k kilograms A DAY (based on data provided by Nielson). Now, the palm-oil-free nut butter brand is encouraging Brits to bring their eye for fashion to the breakfast table, by creating their very own runway-ready #FashionToast.

Whether you’re catwalk-hopping, or keeping track digitally at home, five lucky participants who manage(s) to stay energised during London Fashion Week (whilst snapping their dress-up toast, of course), – will be in for a chance to win a one year supply of Pip & Nut spreads.

Pip Murray, Pip & Nut’s Founder, said: “Creativity is a core value at Pip & Nut. We LOVE seeing creative talent, and the latest trends on display at London Fashion Week. We believe that mornings should be something to look forward to, which is why this year at LFW, we’re excited to bring fashion to the breakfast table, by dressing up our peanut butter toast. We’re encouraging everyone to get involved, and to treat themselves to a truly show-stopping breakfast.”

London Fashion Week can be a tiring few days. But starting the day with peanut butter is a delicious way to ensure that you’ll feel energised all day, every day: “We can’t wait to see what toast trends pop up in our #FashionToast competition, and we’re looking forward to gifting five lucky winners,” added Pip.

To be in for a chance of winning, breakfast-makers are encouraged to tag @pipandnut, and to include #FashionToast on their Instagram or TikTok competition entries. The Pip & Nut #FashionToast competition is officially open from 00.01am 13th September 2021 until 23.55pm 30th September 2021, and the five winners will be contacted by Monday 4th October 2021.

Pippa Murray launched Pip & Nut in January 2015. The brand is famous for it’s delicious range of naturally-nutritious nut-butters, with a product portfolio that includes nine nut butters in total. These are available in glass jars, tubs, and now, – in nut-butter cups, too.

Originally, Pip worked as a theatre producer at The Science Museum. Interestingly enough though, she had no prior “business or FMCG experience.” It all started, when Pip began to make nut butters in her kitchen. Then, she started to sell them at the weekend, before deciding to go full steam ahead with her nutty vision. It was around this time, that she won the Escape The City competition.

A self-confessed peanut butter addict, Pip’s inspiration for the brand came about after she (unsuccessfully) scoured the supermarkets for palm-oil-free peanut butters. Failing miserably (due the lack of options available), she decided to make her own natural range of products, instead. And the rest is history.

Fast-forward a few years later to now, Pip & Nut was proud to obtain their B-Corporation certification in 2019. As part of this commitment, Pip & Nut supports their local communities by tackling food poverty, and by providing better access to nut butter, much needed funds, and volunteering opportunities, as well.

Then, there’s the Hackney Foodbank partnership: in 2020, Pip & Nut donated over 11,000 jars of nut butter, helped to fund a new van (to keep up with the growing demand of deliveries), and volunteered 73 hrs of their time (to package up the food parcels). Recently, they introduced custom-made glass jars across their entire product range, – to further support their commitment to sustainability, and their B-Corp promise of ‘better business.’

Since launching, Pip & Nut has garnered up a whole host of listings, and industry recognition, from being named as ‘Ones to Watch’ at The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 2018, to “Consumer Business of the Year” at The Amazon Growing Business Awards. AND, Pip herself was named one of “London’s Most Influential People 2019,” in the Evening Standard Progress 1000, and ‘Start-Up Entrepreneur of the Year,’ at the NatWest Great British Entrepreneur Awards.

Pip & Nut is available in over 6000 stores across the UK and Ireland, including: Sainsbury’s, Holland & Barrett, Boots, Ocado, Amazon, Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons, Whole Foods Market, Supervalu, Booths, Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, 1000+ independent cafes, delis, health food stores, and gyms.
