Super DC by Gusto Drinks (the world’s first grab-and-go, super-strength, immunity-support vitamin drink with Vitamins D and C) has launched into Sainsbury’s.

Super DC by Gusto is now available in Sainsbury’s, and promises shoppers a revitalising soft drink unlike any other.
Gusto (best-known for its ethically-friendly, plant-based drinks), – has ventured into new territories with two functional drinks, the Super DC Blood Orange, and the Super DC Blackcurrant & Elderberry. Both drinks focus on supporting healthy drinking habits, and immunity support, – whilst boosting your vitamin intake.
They’re packed to the brim with high-strength vitamins (D and C), – together with vitamins A, and K, as well as Zinc and Folic Acid. The drinks contain real fruit juice, delicious plant-based ingredients, no added sugar, and they contain less than 60 calories per can.
They also include plant extracts in the form of the Acerola Cherry (an up-tapped functional super-fruit and one of the richest natural sources of ascorbic acid). Bringing the same ethos to its Super DC Drinks, Gusto is championing real ingredients that are rich in flavour, and contain no preservatives or artificial sweeteners.
The Gusto team created Super DC based on research that combines an alchemy of flavours to create a unique-immune support drink that provides essential vitamins in effective doses. With around 40% of the UK population suffering from a Vitamin D3 deficiency during the winter months (due to less exposure to the sun), Super DC puts a lid on this issue. The products are conveniently available in recyclable grab-and-go cans for everyday support.

- Super DC Blackcurrant & Elderberry: It tastes like a wellbeing jolt to your system: dark, complex notes of elderberry complement fresh tart blackcurrant juice, with a generous glug of apple juice to sweeten. Apple juice has a naturally low glycaemic index, and whilst keeping calories down, – it delivers a rich flavour of the British orchard and hedgerow.
Gusto was Founded by Craig Sams (the entrepreneur behind Green & Blacks chocolate, and Whole Earth Food) and Will Fugard, with a strong focus towards ethical credentials, natural, Fairtrade and organic-certified products designed as a “grown-up” soft drink and exquisite mixer (within the adult premium drinks category). The idea was born out of the darker moments of lock-down in Spring 2020.
