As the UK’s original ice-roll company, PAN-N-ICE™ was launched back in 2015 after two friends became captivated by the sweet street cuisines of Thailand. Henry Milroy, PAN-N-ICE™’s Founder, – was inspired to begin PAN-N-ICE™, after he and his friend encountered the popular rolled ice-cream treat typical of the region of Koh Phi Phi (during his holiday).

“We stumbled across this innovative new way of making ice cream on a night out in Thailand. There was a little stall on the street with a massive crowd of people, and straight away we thought, “why isn’t this in the U.K.?” explained Milroy.

Overcome with desire to share this newfound joy, Henry had quit his university course by the time his plane landed back home. From there, PAN-N-ICE™ was born, and it subsequently became the first ice-cream company in the U.K. to capitalise on this previously untapped trend.

“There aren’t many theatrics involved with traditional ice cream, but with [this] method, customers get to see everything that goes into the ice cream as it’s hand-crafted right in front of their very eyes. There are always ways to incorporate new elements and ingredients, and we are all really excited for the future,” he concluded.

Currently, there are two permanent PAN-N-ICE™ sites: their flagship ice cream parlour in the Westfield London shopping centre in London, and one at Selfridges in Manchester.

Since launching, PAN-N-ICE™ has seen HUGE success across locations such as: Selfridges, Topshop (Oxford Street and New York), Harvey Nichols, and Westfields. The brand is set to launch in the U.S. in the fall of 2021.
