Launched in the summer of 2020, Dr Vegan‘s goal is to bring clarity, simplicity + ethics to nutrition and supplements. Their motto is “Better Me. Better Planet.”

The full range consists of absorbable, naturally-sourced, plant-based supplements, – created by expert nutritionists.

Their FREE online Diet Profile helps customers to understand their dietary and nutritional needs, and consequently, – order the right supplements for them (which are delivered through their letterbox in biodegradable, recyclable packaging). 

The Dr Vegan range is suitable for ALL diet types, and is certified by The Vegan Society. As well as this, the supplements are vegetarian, allergen-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, sugar-free and starch-free, AND they’re non-GMO, too.

Gordon Lott started Dr Vegan, because he was frustrated with supplement companies “assuming that people know what their body needs.”

He was also frustrated with the “poor choice” of high-quality supplements on the market, and as a result, his brand was created with the promise of helping customers to understand their diet and nutrition, whilst providing clean, absorbable, and effective supplements, – with zero nasty additives or animal ingredients.  

Having worked in the industry for a number of years, Gordon had gained first-hand insights into what’s in so many supplements: “there are ingredients you just wouldn’t choose to ingest if you knew where they came from, or some of the potential side effects,” said Gordon.

“Your health starts with your diet and your lifestyle, and we want to make it easy for people to understand which foods provide what nutrients, and WHY they’re important. The Diet Profile is a first step. We think of it as a ‘triage of nutrition,” added Gordon.

Interestingly, 70% of Dr Vegan’s customers aren’t vegan, yet they choose Dr Vegan’s supplements, because they’re “healthier, more effective, and better for the environment:” “Consumers increasingly regard vegan supplements as the healthier option. Whether you’re plant-based or not, they’re better for you and the planet,” he said.

Also passionate about addressing the huge plastic and glass waste dilemma that’s typically seen in the supplements industry, all of Dr Vegan’s products are delivered in recyclable and biodegradable packaging. To add to this, they’ve created an innovative refillable pill tin, which is stylish and convenient to carry.
