Dragons’ Den: Touker Suleyman Invests £100k In Little Hoppa.

AS SEEN ON DRAGONS’ DEN! Touker Suleyman has invested £100k into Little Hoppa. Little Hoppa is a UK-based baby-bouncer brand (which won a RedDot Award in 2020).
Sofie Hepworth is a mum-of-two, a successful interior stylist, an influencer (ThreeBoysAndAPinkBath), and… the Founder of Little Hoppa.
Just recently, the entrepreneur took on the Dragons, and after a confident pitch, she walked out with a deal with Touker Suleyman (£100k in return for 45% of the business).
“Somebody has to have the best, and that’s the best,” said Touker, on his new partnership, – which is sure to see Little Hoppa grow and prosper with the aid of his investment portfolio (which features an entire range of successful, market-leading baby products).
Starting with a list on a scrap of paper, Little Hoppa was born in October 2020 from Sofie’s own mantra: ‘create the things you wish existed.’
“When I became a Mum for the first time, I was surprised to discover that there were so few baby products that offered both functionality and style, and that 99% of baby toys were still being made from garish and toxic plastics, meaning that parents looking for eco-friendly alternatives were simply not being catered to,” said Sofie.
“So, whilst feeding my new-born baby, I set about writing a list of all the things that I could not find for my baby. At the very top of the list, was a wooden baby-bouncer. And in that moment, Little Hoppa was born,” added Sofie.
The result?
A world-class, ground-breaking, multi-functional design that has disrupted the baby market, achieving the unthinkable by winning prestigious awards, as well as being showcased in the world’s leading design museums, AND charming the hearts of stylish parents around the world, including members of the Royal Family!
Currently, there are three main products: the Little Hoppa Baby Bouncer, the Little Hoppa 2-in-1, and the Little Hoppa 3-in-1, all of which have the ability to adapt and grow with your baby, – providing years of entertainment and sustainability.
Whilst it was Touker who ultimately invested, the other Dragons were unanimous over Little Hoppa’s appeal, with Sara Davies stating: “if only you’d had this out seven years ago, I’d have totally bought one. Absolutely!”
