Butternut Box Has Just Launched A BRAND NEW Doggy Video Game

Butternut Box is the FRESH dog food start-up that everyone’s talking about. NOW, they’ve launched a new doggy video game (which their office dog, Pip stars in).

Launched in 2016, Butternut Box is celebrating all things pawsome, with the incarnation of their beloved office dog, Pip, into an online gaming hero.

Pip Quest is a fun online game, which launched just in time for ‘Love Your Pet Day’ on Sunday 20th February. The initiative saw Butternut Box lead the celebration for pets across the nation. This followed a series of pet-appreciation activities from the beloved dog food brand, whose mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs across the globe.

As part of Butternut Box’s #DogsDeserveBillboards social competition in late 2021, 101 “everyday dogs” were picked to head up the brand’s first out-of-home campaign in 2022. The winners were selected to attend a luxury photo-shoot, which resulted in their dogs’ faces being displayed on eye-catching billboards across the nation.

The puppy love didn’t stop there though, as Butternut Box also celebrated their hardworking charity efforts from 2021, after confirming that they’d donated over 25,000 meals to rescue dogs in need. In terms of charity partnerships, Butternut Box continues to works with The Mayflower Sanctuary (an animal sanctuary in West Yorkshire), Dogs 4 Rescue (a re-homing centre in Manchester), and Foal Farm (an animal rescue centre in Kent).

It’s been so inspiring to see all the great work that our wonderful charity partners do. I feel so lucky that with the help of our customers and our team, that we’re able to give back to dogs less fortunate than the ones we’re lucky enough to feed. We’re really keen for our charity support to continue in 2022, to make sure that ALL dogs are happy and healthy, and are enjoying a well-balanced, varied diet,” said Butternut Box’s Co-Founder, David Nolan.

Butternut Box was Founded by two friends, Kevin and Dave, who started their company after seeing first hand, – the benefits that home-cooked food was having on Dave’s poorly rescue dog, Rudie. In those early days, by day, Kevin and Dave were working for Goldman Sachs. By night, they were cooking fresh meals for dogs.

And on weekends, they were delivering the food themselves.
