As a brand, and as a symbol, Smiley® represents hope and positivity, – the very values held by Ciaté London’s CEO and Founder, Charlotte Knight. To mark 50 years of smiles, Smiley® has collaborated with Ciaté London, and André Saraiva (whose signature designs have been drawn over 300,000 times on six continents), – to create a truly exclusive collector’s edition range of products.
Ciaté London was selected as the exclusive cosmetics partner of this unique collaboration. The exclusive collector’s edition range will be sold in Galeries Lafayette across the globe, throughout the year-long celebration, in addition to Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters.

André’s explosive tie-dye graffiti effect, is topped with the iconic Smiley®, – to bring about an impactful, loveable palette. The six-pan collectable palette features beautiful, adaptable shades suited to all moods, and it includes a handy mirror, perfect for touch-ups.
Smiley® was created in 1972, by the French journalist, Franklin Loufrani, to spread feel-good news.
In 1996, Nicolas Loufrani, the son of Franklin, took the helm, whilst the world was in the midst of the digital revolution. Nicolas saw a huge opportunity to bring Smiley® into the digital world.
