Sacred Scoops Up An “Editor’s Choice” Beauty Shortlist Award

Sacred has won an Editor’s Choice Award at the Beauty Shortlist Awards for their Elemental Glow Balancing Face Oil and their Spring Revival Hydrating Body Balm.

The Beauty Shortlist Awards recognises the best natural, ethical, and sustainable brands, and Sacred Skincare were judged alongside the likes of Ren, Dr Hauschka, Esse, Weleda, and Dr Jacksons.

Made-to-order by hand in the UK in small batches, the Sacred Skincare range is a capsule collection of multi-tasking products that are 100% plant-based vegan and cruelty-free, containing ingredients that are repurposed from natural materials that would normally go to waste.

Natalie Hughes Founded Sacred Skincare just a few months before the start of the pandemic, after deciding to swap her demanding career in London for a life on the Kent coast, instead.

An advocate for sustainable beauty, Natalie has created a brand that swims against the tide of over-consumption.

With streamlined, luxury collections launching in limited batches throughout the year, Natalie is committed to using ONLY what is needed, to deliver gentle and effective, long-lasting results that support and strengthen the skin’s natural ability to regenerate.

Here are the two products that picked up an Editor’s Choice Award at the Beauty Shortlist Awards:

The Elemental Glow Balancing Face Oil:

Related Products

Made with grape seed and hemp seed oils, the product helps to regulate sebum, balance out skin tone, fade scars, and minimise breakouts. The oil contains beautiful botanical oils, including olive squalane, rosehip, cacay and raspberry seed (repurposed from the jam and juice industries) which locks in moisture, reduces inflammation, detoxifies the skin, and boosts collagen production. There’s also a version without essential oils, for hyper-sensitive skin.

The Spring Revival Hydrating Body Balm:

A nourishing balm that revives dry and dehydrated skin. The product is made with cold-pressed organic botanical oils (including rosehip, olive squalane and hemp seed oil), Fairtrade organic cocoa butter and organic unrefined shea butter (sourced from a women’s co-operative in Ghana), and cleansing essential oils, such as Eucalyptus and Rosemary. The balm locks in moisture, soothes inflammation, and softens and strengthens the skin’s natural barrier.

Sacred Skincare uses glass and aluminium packaging that can be refilled or recycled many times over.

Also, Natalie has introduced a new type of compostable packaging, which is made from wood-chip reclaimed as a by-product from industry processes. And, Sacred sets aside 10% of their profits to support regeneration initiatives, and projects that bring people and nature closer together.
