Meet Asher Flowers From Rogue, A Game Changing Jam Start-up.

Starting out in 2018 and rebelling against boring breakfasts, Rogue‘s artisan handmade jams, marmalades, sauces and chutneys make breakfast worth waking up for.

Rogue’s Founder, Asher Flowers grew up in South Wales, before moving to London to study advertising and PR at University. Whilst studying, he was signed to various modelling agencies in London, Milan, and New York, where he represented many prominent brands, Moschino being one of many.

After graduating, Asher focused on his career in advertising, laying a foundation for his journey into entrepreneurship. Working and living in London on a starting salary eventually took its toll, and in 2017, he decided to go rogue, by leaving his job, and moving back to Wales to start his own jam business. Asher is no stranger to Jam. When he was younger, he used to make jam with his mum, a passion he has continued on until now.

In particular, Asher wanted to harness the vibrancy and the energy of the brunches he’d feasted on whilst travelling around the world’s most ‘foodie’ cities, re-imagining breakfast staples for a new generation of food enthusiasts. Starting out with just £350 in the bank, Asher tested his products at Cardiff farmers markets, secured business loans and investment, and he developed a new range of disruptive products that Rogue has become best-known for.

Newly HQ’ed in East London, the range includes:

Related Products
  • Marmalades in the following flavours: Blood Orange & Vanilla, Dark & Stormy, Negroni Marmalade, and Espresso Martini Marmalade,
  • Jam, including Strawberry & Tonka Bean, and Tutti Frutti,
  • And last but not least, sauces and chutneys, featuring a versatile Kickin’ & Smokin’ Sauce, and a Bravado Chilli Pepper Jam.

The products are vegan and natural. They’re free from major allergens, and they’re handmade in the UK in small batches.

Also, Asher made himself known to the British public, when he appeared on Gordon Ramsey’s Apprentice-style food challenge, Future Food Stars, for several weeks. “It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to work with Gordon Ramsay. It’s incredible to be considered as one of the most exciting food brands in the UK, by someone with such huge industry experience,” said Asher.
