Little Butterfly London: Skincare For Mothers And Babies.

Little Butterfly came to life thanks to Gudrun Wurm, who as a new mother, was inspired to create an exclusive range to nurture her newborn son’s delicate skin.

Launched in 2015, the brand is an award-winning, luxury, organic, vegan skincare brand for both mothers and their little ones.

The range includes a ‘wrapped in love’ baby face cream (which is the first ever calming anti-pollution cream for little ones), and ‘cocoon of bliss’ (a miracle stretch mark prevention treatment). The products are made using unique, sophisticated formulas, including patented bio-actives. There’s also gift set options, and smaller sizes for travelling.

Gudrun Wurm (who used to work in the tourism and event sector) has been passionate about skincare since she was a little girl. So when she couldn’t find the natural, effective, and indulgent products she desired for herself and her son, she began to delve deeper, studying natural and organic ingredients that were safe, and highly effective.

“When I had my son Lucas, it became apparent that when it came to baby skincare, most products were merely practical and disappointingly made of low-cost and unsafe, raw materials. I was looking for products that were created with the same integrity and high-quality approach as luxury adult skincare products,” said Gudrun.

“And since infant skin can absorb up to five times as many chemicals as ours, with them immediately entering the blood stream, I searched for organic-certified vegan-friendly products that were suitable for sensitive new-born skin, that were safe, gentle, effective, and gorgeously presented, but there weren’t any ranges that ticked these boxes,” added Gudrun.

Driven by her own uncompromising standards and passion, Gudrun then decided to design skincare products for pregnant women and new mothers, which are high quality, efficacy driven, and safe to use, and they’ll enhance these amazingly precious periods in women’s lives.
