Montague Ede: Bespoke Hand Made Tailoring That Will Outlive You.

Montague Ede makes garments that’ll outlive their wearer. They’re stunningly timeless and distinctively unique, like coats that grandchildren will want to wear.

Montague Ede is a modern tailor with a traditional background; that engages in beautiful bespoke tailoring that’s hand-made on Savile Row in London, and hand-cut via their Atelier in Soho.

Each piece is crafted from scratch; starting out with a pattern on a giant piece of brown paper, with a pencil.

At the helm of the brand (that opened it’s doors in 2016) stands Antonia Ede, who previously worked on Savile Row herself; at one of the most reputable tailoring houses in the world, after leaving the London College of Fashion.

Her first job was under Stuart Lamprell at Hardy Amies, from whom she learned everything – from cloth (what to use, when to use it, and how to select the best cloth for client’s expectations), to running a small business, and most importantly… the art of cutting.

“I decided that I missed the creativity that I so loved about working with clothes. Starting my own brand was built on this craving, and the urge to be able to make Men’s bespoke tailoring less intimidating and more approachable,” said Antonia.

Antonia’s business has been featured in various online publications, including The Telegraph and The Soho Society. Also, Antonia will be taking part in the New York Trunk Show, this October (2022).
