Enjoy These Luxury Hand Drawn Prints By Millie Bridget Henry
Millie Bridget Henry created her eponymous brand in 2018. She personally hand draws prints for luxury accessories + homewares at her studio in Buckinghamshire.
In the early days, Millie launched her business with just two pocket square collections.
Since then, she’s gone on to build the business, and develop new product ranges. To begin with, her main focus was menswear: she started out with silk braces and neckerchiefs, and she designed lining for jackets and weddings, too.
But then the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Unfortunately, business came to a standstill.
However, with people spending more time at home than ever before, the interiors/home-ware market began to grow, so Millie decided to follow suit, by entering that market as well. She designed a collection of luxury silk cushions, and a range of limited edition Fine Art Giclée prints. Since then, she’s expanded into wallpaper design, too.
“During the pandemic, business was difficult, so I used the extra time I had to work on developing my product range to launch a collection of beautifully made silk cushions,” said Millie.
Prior to launching her business, Millie graduated from a textiles degree from the Winchester School of Art in 2010. She started her post-graduate working life at Huntsman on Savile Row, which was where she discovered a niche gap in the market for designing prints for pocket squares.
When she left Huntsman, she set herself a target to launch her own business a year later as a side hustle (whilst she was working at Buckingham Palace with a team of conservators, to provide a conservation service to the Royal Collection).
Fast forward to now, and Millie Bridget Henry is stocked all over the planet. Her collections are available in the UK, in Norway, and in Singapore and Thailand.
