Olympian-Backed HindSight Launches Rear-View Cycling Glasses

HindSight‘s new range (sunglasses with rear-view vision on quality frames) comes after a Kickstarter campaign that was 1100% over-funded, with Olympian backing.

Launched in 2020 by Alexander Macdonald and Callum Skinner (the Olympic track champion), HindSight is best-known for its unique, patented lenses – that enable people who are cycling, running or walking – to see what’s behind them.

The new V2 models (Artemis and Morpheus) were inspired by feedback that was given by V1 backers + customers:

  • Improved optical systems,
  • Improved coatings,
  • A significantly improved performance in the underlying technology,
  • The perfect lens angle for peak performance,
  • And more.

Artemis and Morpheus are available with 3 lens colours (red, blue, and standard black), and 3 frame colours (black, clear, and tortoiseshell).

‘’We are delighted to launch our new V2 HindSight rear-vision sunglasses. Every other user on the road has rear-view mirrors, and we believe that cyclists should have that option, too. The team at HindSight has been blown away by the support shown on our Kickstarter, and we can’t wait to see people enjoying our new sunglasses,” said Alexander.

‘’Launching these models is a big step in the HindSight journey,” said Callum Skinner (the Olympic track champion).

“We are very grateful for the support we’ve received, and this launch is the culmination of detailed feedback, and significant improvements. Our mission is to give cyclists the same vision as others on the road, and we’ve done that with sunglasses that look fantastic,” concluded Callum.
