Olive + Frank: Fashion Inspired By Vintage And Street Styles

Launched in 2016 by Chloe Torpey, Olive And Frank is a fashion brand that’s inspired by street style, vintage finds, art, and more.
Chloe Torpey (and her team) designs and features colourful prints and detailed embroidery. Each garment is lovingly designed in the UK.
Chloe has always loved fashion. After completing an Art course, she interned at various publications. After a short sting in London, she moved back to the North to launch a business of her own. Initially, Chloe experimented with t-shirt designs, and eventually, her passion project became Olive and Frank – a purpose led clothing brand.
“I feel fortunate to love what I do, and I genuinely put everything into Olive and Frank. I have so many ideas that I would like to develop, and I still feel like I’m at the beginning of my journey. I’m excited to see where it takes me,” said Chloe.
One major inspiration behind Chloe’s brand was her mother, Amanda, who sadly passed away in 2020 from ovarian cancer. Not only did Chloe lose her rock, but she lost her biggest supporter in Olive & Frank, too. Before she left, Amanda wrote Chloe a letter, which said: “be kind, open your heart, love, and go on.”
The words (which embody her mother’s strength and her kindness) are now etched onto Olive & Frank’s latest creation, the ‘Open Your Heart’ tee, which is designed to empower women. The tee is printed on 100% organic cotton, and it’s manufactured responsibly and ethically, with £5 from each sale going towards Target Ovarian Cancer.
Target Ovarian Cancer is the UK’s leading ovarian cancer charity. The organisation raises funds to improve early diagnosis, as well as conducting life-saving research – whilst providing much-needed support to those affected.
