Lava Cap: The Natural, Microwavable – Deep Conditioning Cap.

Say BYE to dry frizzy hair with Lava Cap – a natural, microwavable deep conditioning cap – designed to condition dry hair whilst you’re having breakfast in bed.

This award-winning, London-based brand – provides a wide range of hot caps in vibrant colours for adults and children – to help the hair to better absorb moisture and active ingredients from the masks, i.e. deep conditioning and hot oil treatments. The caps are especially great for Afro and curly hair types.

The business was Founded by Rosemary Madagwa. After experiencing dry hair herself, Rosemary decided to create her own solution in 2020, which she launched during lock-down. Eventually, Rosemary left her management role – after eleven years of working in financial services – to develop her business.

“I saw the potential to fulfill a gap in the hair-care industry; by approaching brand and product development from an inclusive, multidisciplinary perspective – that encompassed science and engineering, trichology, fashion, and holistic health,” said Rosemary.

To date, Lava Cap has been featured in The Telegraph, Grazia, and The Observer, as well as boasting a number of awards, including a 2021 Pure Beauty ‘Best New Hair Care Brand’ award, a more recent accolade by CEW (which recognised Rosemary and her business at their inaugural Rising Star Awards), and lastly, Rosemary was mentioned by Small Business Britain in the F:Entrepreneur 2023 Top 100 female entrepreneurs list.
