Hegarty: British Fashion That’s Designed And Made In London.

Matthew Hegarty launched his namesake brand, Hegarty – in 2021, to provide premium garments – designed + made in London, using ONLY the finest English fabrics.

Hegarty = a wide range of women’s, unisex, and men’s pieces – with a focus on the fluidity of great fashion design – demonstrated through British craftsmanship, diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability.

It all started with two pieces: a women’s, and a men’s pea-coat.

However now, Hegarty’s collection is a selection of ready-to-wear pieces, including a women’s cloak (that’s cut from 100% pure virgin Melton wool), a women’s/men’s single-breasted cashmere overcoat, and a unisex raglan sleeve denim jacket.

Hegarty’s Founder, Matthew Hegarty – graduated from a London College of Fashion photography course. During his studies, he also honed his skills in fashion design and pattern cutting.

“I wanted to start a brand that was named after my surname – an inclusive, London-made brand – that focused on women’s-wear, unisex, and menswear,” concluded Matthew.
