Amboora: Delicious Moroccan Condiments To Spice Up Your Meals

Launched in 2021 by Nadia Hamila, Amboora is a condiments brand with a unique range of spices and sauces, inspired by Morocco’s vast and diverse food catalogue.

A few years ago, Amboora’s Founder, Nadia Hamila – had an epiphany whilst she was cooking her daughter some Moroccan food. People kept asking her for recipes. They wanted to know how they could recreate the meals they had eaten in Morocco.

“One Saturday, I was at a food market, and I saw a woman selling sauces, so I followed up by doing extensive market research and spending weekends on Google, and I knew I had to go for it,” added Nadia.

So she did. And that’s how Amboora was born.

“The feedback was that it was ‘spot on,’ and that they couldn’t find anything similar in shops,” said Nadia.

When COVID-19 hit, Nadia decided to take the plunge. She quit her role as Chief of Staff at the logistics company she was working for, and she began to work full time on Amboora.

Since launching, Amboora has made the New York Times’ Cooking front page, as well as securing major retailers, but Nadia promises that there will be more to come for Amboora in the future, with more delicious products on the way.
