Launched in 2017 by Dr Terence Chung and Kelly Yee, FRUU’s unique approach to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and innovative formulations – make the brand a compelling choice for customers that are seeking high-quality, ethical, and environmentally-conscious beauty products.

By up-cycling ‘wonky fruits’ that would otherwise go to waste, FRUU is a range of eco-friendly, distinctive products, that includes natural deodorants, hand creams, lip balms, and all-purpose balms.

Their most recent launch is a plastic-free, solid range – that consists of ten highly-effective products, including face cleansers, shower bars, shampoos, and conditioners.

Dr Terence Chung and Kelly Yee launched FRUU after recognising the need for more eco-friendly alternatives in the beauty industry. FRUU aligns with their core values of sustainability, innovation, and social responsibility.

Kelly is a Senior Pediatric Occupational Therapist, with more than ten years’ experience of working with children with neuro-diverse and physical support needs, both in a clinic, and a school setting. Her entrepreneurial partner, Dr. Terence Chung – is a Nottingham-trained Biochemist, with fifteen years’ of experience in antibiotics development, molecular biology, cosmetic science, and education.
