Mothernutter: UK Roasted/Blended Palm Oil Free Peanut Butter

Launched in September 2022, Mothernutter‘s range is palm oil free. The products are blended/roasted in the UK, using sustainable hi-oleic South American peanuts.

Made with a deeper roast, Mothernutter’s peanut butters are bursting with taste, energy, and protein. They’re free-from added sugar and additives, and they’re made with nuts, and a sprinkle of sea salt.

10% of the brand’s profits are donated to environmental causes, which are chosen by the public (Mothernutter’s social media followers get to choose which charities the brand partners with).

“We’re not going to tell you that eating our nut butters will save the world, but we are committed to doing what we can to help in our own way,” said Mothernutter’s Victoria Seymour.

A newcomer to the peanut butter scene, Mothernutter launched in September 2022 – with its flagship ‘Crunchy’ and ‘Smooth’ flavours – followed by an ‘Ultimate Jam’ launch in January 2023. More recently, Mothernutter has launched its first ever collaboration product with Tubby Tom – a unique Crunchy Maple Bacon peanut butter.

The business was set up by a former production manager named Victoria Seymour, whose Dad developed a ‘nutty’ obsession with peanut butter during the COVID-19 lock-down. Known for his eccentric pastimes, Victoria’s Dad took the plunge, and invested in a small-roasting and blending device, which was kept in the family’s garage.

He passed the baton to Victoria to set the wheels in motion, and she called upon the biggest peanut butter nerds she knew, who were united by their passion for peanut butter, people, respecting Mother Earth, and… doing things differently. 

Already, Mothernutter is listed in various major retailers all across the UK.
