If you’re looking for breakfast options on Father’s Day weekend, Mandira’s Kitchen’s Masala Cheese Omelette or Bacon and Chicken Open Naan – are the perfect choices to start the day (fresh fruit and tea or coffee is included).

And for lunch, Mandira’s Kitchen has all the usual favourites of Thali (meat and vegetarian options), including crispy samosas, a delicious Gulab jamun, and… ice cream to finish.

But that’s not all. For those of you who prefer an afternoon tea, Mandira’s Kitchen has a special Father’s Day Afternoon Tea available on the patio, which includes a chicken tikka burger, samosas, and sweet treats.

So if you are planning to celebrate at home, with Mandira’s Kitchen, you won’t have to worry about spending too much time in the oven, as this brand has a solution: The Father’s Day Party box, which can be delivered to any UK mainland address, or picked up from Mandira’s Kitchen at the Silent Pool in Guildford.

NOTE: All items arrive frozen, and can be kept in the fridge for 48 hours, or in the freezer for up to 6 months, and dishes can be heated in the microwave in 4 minutes, or in the oven.

“This Father’s Day, we want to create a special celebration of your Dad – either with us, or in your own home. We want to help you have good times, good conversation, good food, and good memories, but of course, without all the work falling on the rest of the family,” said Mandira’s Kitchen’s Founder, Mandira Sarkar.

Launched in 2016, Mandira’s Kitchen is an all-woman business, that creates authentic home-style freezer meals, using family recipes, no preservatives, and a whole lotta love.

Mandira Sarkar moved to the UK years ago not knowing how to cook, and she missed her natal food even more than her own parents. She spent almost two decades working as a management consultant, but she complained constantly about a lack of “proper” Indian food, until an exasperated friend asked her “to put her money where her mouth was.”

So she did.

So Mandira followed her heart to do something that her parents would disapprove of. She gave up a well-paying job in her 40’s to cook for a living. Since then, Mandira’s Kitchen has been featured on BBC Countryfile and on Channel 4’s Aldi’s Next Big Thing, as well as gaining celebrity fans such as Nigella Lawson and Jamie Oliver.
