Fauxquet: A Timeless Alternative To Conventional Flowers.

Fauxquet‘s bouquets are created by hand, with faux flower stems. They’re hand-tied + gift-wrapped to be kept forever, rather than thrown away after a few weeks.

Launched during lock-down, Fauxquet = faux flower bouquets and stems – the perfect timeless alternative to normal flowers. It’s a range of hand-tied faux flower arrangements, that includes a newly-launched Summer collection, that’s full of gorgeous, seasonal (faux) stems, plants, and new limited edition arrangements – based on seasonal flowers.

Fauxquet’s Olivia O’Reilly set the business up during lock-down – in a bid to discover a more creative outlet, whilst she was on maternity leave. Whilst living in a house without much natural light, she found that greenery and flowers transformed the room, but buying weekly fresh bouquets was too expensive, and it required a lot of maintenance.

Prior to launching her company, Olivia worked as a Product Development Manager at The Walt Disney Company in London, but she moved back to Suffolk – as her husband decided to start a Brewery.

“All of our bouquets have been carefully curated by hand, and each one of them will add a beautiful focal point to your space – through colour and texture; invoking a natural finish to a room. The quality of faux stems has vastly improved – making them indiscernible from their fresh counterparts. Many variations come with a ‘real touch’ finish – a specialist coating, which makes the flower(s) look and feel real. They look incredibly authentic,” said Olivia.

In a short space of time, Fauxquet has built an impressive following on social media, as well as supplying arrangements to luxury properties, including The Londoner Hotel. And, their flowers have been featured in various celebrity shoots for Hello Magazine, Woman & Home, and Good Homes magazine.
