It’s Official: Crumbs Brewing Becomes A Certified B Corp.

Crumbs Brewing has announced its B Corp certification. B Corp is a growing number of companies that are redefining business, by prioritizing purpose and profit.

Recognized by B Lab (the organisation behind the B Corp movement) Crumbs Brewing has successfully met B Corp‘s stringent social and environmental standards – demonstrating its commitment to objectives that are beyond profit.

The certification process encompasses all aspects of a business’s operations – including five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. As part of the certification, Crumbs Brewing will legally incorporate their dedication to purpose beyond profit, into their company articles.

“It has been an immense effort to get to this point, but we are so proud to join the B Corp community. The thing we are most excited about, is that this is very much the start of our journey, and not the end,” said Crumbs Brewing’s Co-founder, Morgan Arnell.

“Yes, we fight food waste, and yes, we give over 1% of our revenue to charities such as Food Cycle. But we also love the fact that the B Lab framework challenges us to think far more broadly,” added Morgan.

By certifying as a B Corporation, companies commit to a framework of ongoing enhancement. To maintain certification, businesses must undergo the assessment and verification process every three years, and demonstrate their continued adherence to B Lab’s evolving standards, whilst also benefiting from continuous input from expert stakeholders.
