Fokus: The Garden Office Space Of The Future

Fokus (powered by Sheridan&Co) has created a revolutionary new garden office ‘breathing room,’ in response to the increasing number of people working from home, due to COVID.

After COVID19 was officially declared a pandemic, 88% of organisations worldwide made it mandatory, or encouraged their employees to work from home – which FOKUS embraced.

The Fokus ‘breathing room’ is an innovative new initiative backed by global design agency, Sheridan&Co, that solves the societal problem of increasingly more people working from home, often – without being able to establish healthy boundaries between work and rest.

It’s a new type of garden room concept that allows people to create more space at home. Each garden room can be completely personalised to a client’s size and style requirements.

Sheridan&Co offers two levels of customisation:

Semi-bespoke,
And fully-bespoke.

Fire and waterproof, Fokus’ ‘breathing rooms’ are A-grade fire-resistant, mould-free and inclusive of damp-proof materials and weather-proof outer walls.

Installation can be achieved within as little as 48 hours and electricity is installed quickly. The spaces are eco-driven as well, offer solar power, infra-red heating and improved insulation.

With a starting price of £15k, customers are also able to spread the cost through competitive financing options, but simplified design solutions are available at a lower cost, as well as bespoke options for those with a higher budget in mind.

As a company that was forced to work remotely overnight, the team at Sheridan&Co experienced first hand – the challenges of working from home but in their relaxing, dining, or sleeping environment; hence why the Fokus breathing room became the perfect initiative to tackle this issue head-on.

With work now entering the privacy of our home lives, it was time to do something to separate the work space from the home space, and the launch of Fokus became an exciting part of Sheridan&Co’s own journey.
