LAUNCHING THIS WEEK: The Clean Dog Co: The UK’s FIRST EVER Eco-Friendly, Vegan, + Cruelty-Free Dog-Care Brand
LAUNCHING THIS WEEK: The Clean Dog Company provides a unique range of eco-friendly, vegan, and cruelty-free grooming products, – which are tailor-made for dogs’ delicate skin + fur.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, dog ownership reached an all-time high. Now, OVER HALF of all British households owns a dog, – with many people giving their dogs credit for helping them to cope with lock-downs.
Now, more than ever, – it’s time to return the favour, and show some gratitude to our furry friends. And The Clean Dog Co has the ultimate treat: carefully formulated with odour-fighting cleansers (and gentle scents of Lavender, Rosemary and Chamomile,) their signature item is ‘The Shampoo,’ which comes in three sizes (100ml, 250ml, and 500ml).
Their other products include: ‘The Towel’ (a super lightweight towel made from recycled polyester, – which can be fastened to fold and hold the towel), and the ‘Fur Massager,’ – which is available in either blue or lilac. For dog owners who want to make their dog look and feel fabulous, you can also buy the full kit, which contains all three items.
As part of the brand’s sustainability ethos, The Clean Dog Co’s product packaging is 100% recyclable, and they’ve partnered with Underdog International, – a charity that enhances children’s lives and education, with ‘therapy dogs’ in schools. The start-up has agreed to donate 20p from each bottle of shampoo purchased, AND they’ve committed to planting one tree per order in the UK, – through their charity partner, Ecologi.
All of The Clean Dog Co’s products have been manufactured in the UK, and their ingredients are 100% naturally-derived, vegan, and thoughtfully-sourced. Also, a lot of care has been taken to ensure that there are no harsh chemicals or irritants within the products, and no artificial fragrances or colours have been included in the formula: everything has been tested on humans, first.
Natt McHale, the Founder of The Clean Dog Co, said: “For as long as I’ve owned dogs, one of the biggest challenges I’ve had is finding products for them that aren’t full of harsh chemicals which are either over scented, or irritate their skin. Humans have an abundance of choice when it comes to beauty and skincare products, so why should it be any different for our dogs?“
