Fearless Adventures Invests In Montana Brown’s Swim Society.
The investment will support the brand’s growth with world-class digital marketing and talent-sourcing expertise.
Montana Brown (a former Economics student from Hertfordshire) shot to fame, thanks to her role in 2017’s Love Island. The TV star has managed to clock up a staggering three million followers combined (across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube), – which investors believe can be converted into Swim Society sales.
The idea behind Swim Society was first incepted in 2018 on a beach in the Maldives, where Montana was discussing with her friends how different an experience everyone has when it comes to shopping swimwear, and… the rest is history, as they say. After launching their first collection in April 2019, they went on to launch three subsequent collections.
Swim Society is at the forefront of the fast-growing ethical fashion market: their approach towards transparency is perfectly in-tune with the growing awareness and demand for ethical and sustainable fashion. Swim Society used 95% recycled materials in their first two collections (post-consumer polyester, made from items that have been collected, sorted by hand, and melted down).
Pioneering a no-categorisation ethos, Swim Society provides the same style for every size (meaning that there’s no “plus-size”), which is a first-of-its-kind in the swimwear category/sector. Additionally, the brand celebrates a diverse community of women, aiming to represent as many body shapes as possible, – by holding open castings for their audience (in which anyone can apply to be a part of their campaigns).
