No Guilt Bakes: Yummy Ketogenic, Sugar Free Treats + Snacks.

No Guilt Bakes‘ launched in 2019, thanks to Taeya Abdel-Majeed + Maya Harruna. The brand makes keto + sugar-free treats + snacks, – as a low-sugar alternative.

Taeya Abdel-Majeed (an investment manager), and Maya Harruna (who previously worked in PR, and is currently pursuing a post-graduate law degree) are cousins – whose love for sweet treats inspired them to create their own brand, – specializing in healthier substitutes for those who sought to embrace a healthier diet.

Taeya started to cut her sugar intake in 2016 – as a way to lose weight, and to be healthier for her wedding.

After seeing the results of Taeya’s journey, Maya felt inspired to join in, too.

However, they quickly discovered that all available healthier alternatives “tasted bland.” So… they decided to create their own sweet treats – that followed the rules of keto and low carbohydrate dieting – that tasted absolutely delicious.

“The business launched just before COVID-19 hit. We were forced to re-strategise, and we soon realized that what we were offering – went far beyond keto and weight loss. It also touched on the diabetic community. Giving up something is hard, so we make alternatives, so that you don’t have to give up your favourite sweet treats,” said Taeya and Maya.

No Guilt Bakes has seven flavors: Raspberry swirl, Chocolate and hazelnut, Lemon and Poppyseed, Lemon and coconut, Chocolate, Cinnamon and Salted caramel – of ready to eat cake bites.

And, there’s some baking mixes, too: a bread mix, a Pancake and waffle mix, a chocolate brownie mix, Mug mixes, and a pizza base mix; along with a recently-launched range of celebration cakes (Lemon, Chocolate and Victoria sponge) which come in 2 sizes, 6 inches, or 8 inches.
