Bottleshot (The UK’s Leading Cold Brew Coffee Brand), – Has Just Launched Into Ocado And WHSmith Travel.

Bottleshot are proud to continue their expansion, and announce that their ‘Cold Brew Coffee’ is now stocked in Ocado and WHSmith Travel.

Bottleshot’s two signature flavours, Coffee Black and Coffee Oat Milk, – are now available in Ocado, WHSmith Travel, and in Whole Foods. The brand has also seen a huge rise in direct-to-consumer sales online via their website, and on Amazon Prime. They can also found in London’s prestigious Soho House (where Bottleshot is an exclusive cold-brew provider).

Bottleshot was launched in the UK back in 2018, – to take advantage of a huge gap in the European cold brew market. Founders, Annie Mitchell and Charlotte Dales predicted that Europe would see the same spike in demand for cold brew coffee as they saw in the US – where 40% of ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee products are cold brew products, versus just 2.5% in Europe. And their prediction came true.

Annie and Charlotte are both longstanding cold brew fans, who grew up in New Orleans with cold brew in their blood (and in their homes, of course). Much to their disappointment, they just couldn’t find an authentic cold brew in London. They missed that delicious, full-bodied flavour and smooth energy kick. In fact, not drinking cold brew was ‘quite a blow’ to their daily routine: a travesty, it seems.

After Charlotte successfully sold her first business to American Express, the duo seized the opportunity to create their own cold brew brand, that’s high quality, delicious, and contagious. Annie Mitchell (who has a background in marketing), said: “when we first arrived here in the UK, we couldn’t find anything that even came close to the coffee that we knew and loved. Charlotte and I were brought up in New Orleans, and cold brew isn’t just a drink, – it’s a way of life.”

Bottleshot is now stocked all over the UK, and this year is proving to be their busiest one yet, despite the ongoing pandemic. “We’re currently testing new products,” revealed Annie. ‘And we’ll hopefully be announcing those very soon…’
