One of Dolores & Rose’s Co-Founders, Caroline Foley, said: “we were determined to create a range of shampoo and conditioning bars that were hand-made, vegan, ethical, cruelty-free and sustainable, that didn’t compromise on great cleansing, conditioning performance, or luxury. Jane’s extensive hairdressing experience and knowledge is vital in this: she understands exactly what is expected from a great shampoo and conditioner.”
Dolores and Rose was established by Jane Wilkinson and Caroline Foley in 2019. After building a successful hair salon business over 20 years, Jane decided that she was ready for a new challenge linked to her fundamental passion: hair-care. She opened her first salon, Robert Michael in Fulford, York in the early 1990’s, followed by a second salon in Selby, and a third in York City centre, employing over 25 members of staff.
Caroline comes with 20+ years’ experience of delivering large programmes in global corporations. In 2017, she decided that she needed a change, so she moved back to her home county, Yorkshire, and she left the corporate world to follow her dream of starting her own business.
