The brand was Founded in 2017, in Manchester by Joy Howieson. Initially, Joy started out as a make-up artist on the MAC counter in Manchester’s Selfridges. And it was there that she noticed the demand for fuller lips, using makeup, instead of surgical procedures.

But it was a near-death experience four years ago that tipped her over the edge: Joy was rushed to hospital after a long-haul flight back from Australia, when she unknowingly developed a pulmonary embolism. When she resumed her MUA teaching role the same day, she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital, where it was diagnosed.

This changed her life forever, and this is why she decided to use all of her savings to fund the project, and to bring her idea to life. From there, the brand was developed with multi-use products to naturally plump lips and create proven results.
