Very Craftea Has Launched The Perfect Gift For Tea Lovers

Very Craftea (the Peterborough-based loose tea business) has launched the perfect Christmas gift for tea lovers: the Tea Advent Calendar. Find out more below.

As to be expected, Very Craftea’s Tea Advent Calendar includes a different tea each day (enough for at least two cups), along with some delicious vegan biscuits, and an extra special gift on Christmas day. The calendar provides the perfect way for tea lovers to combine their love for tea with the joy of an advent calendar, and of course, December’s festi-teas.

The Tea Advent Calendar is completely handmade from start to finish. It makes for a beautiful decorative piece, due to it’s size (56cm high). The product is available until the 31st October 2021, so if you’d like to grab one, now is the time to do so, as time is running out.

Very Craftea was Founded in 2017 by Tasnime Jennings from the kitchen table. The idea of was thought up one evening with Tasnime’s good friend Natalie, over a cup of tea and some cake. Tasnime thought “what would make this even better, would be a craft kit to go along with it.” Her friend Natalie then muttered: “oh, we’re Very Craftea, – you know: like craft and tea!” And that’s how it all started.

“Though the pandemic completely stopped me exhibiting at fairs and events, my online business has seen huge growth. As restrictions have started to ease, I’m hoping to be able to return to travelling the country to undertake tea talks and tea tastings. I am extremely grateful to all of my customers who have supported me during these difficult and uncertain times,” said Tasnime.

In terms of success stories, Very Craftea has won Great Taste Awards for their teas: in 2018, and in 2020.
