Jen Winnett: Sustainable Home, Gifting, + Clothing Products.
Launched in 2019 and based in the Cotswolds, Jen Winnet Art is an exciting range of eco-conscious products, including paintings, home, gifts, clothes, and bags.
Jen is a self-taught watercolour artist – who has proven that eco-friendly products can be both beautiful and affordable. Jen started to paint as a form of therapy – to support her recovery from anorexia in 2018.
Because her paintings brought her so much joy, she decided to share them online. She quickly discovered that her work had a soothing effect on others, too – leading her to set up Jen Winnett Art as a full-time business, the following year.
Jen launched her start-up on three core values: sustainability, affordability, and ethical production. And as an eco-artist, nature is her passion – which is reflected throughout.
Jen’s eco-cards are made in the UK on FSC-cards, and they’re printed with vegetable oil-based inks.
“I wanted to show people that eco-friendly products can be both beautiful and affordable. There are some easy swaps that can be made – to support a more sustainable lifestyle,” said Jen.
In the five years since Jen launched her company, impressively, she has turned over six figures, and her products are now stocked in almost 100 shops across the UK, and in the USA.
Prior to launching her enterprise, Jen worked in a variety of marketing roles, including at the University she studied at, as well as a stint as the head of marketing – at a company that ran supported holidays for adults with learning difficulties.
But it was her passion for art and the environment that drove her to become an eco-artist.
