Drop Of Colour has launched their BRAND NEW collection of floral-themed paint kits, – to encourage people to take a break from their screens: grab some well-deserved ‘me time,’ through the love of art.

Perfect for beginners and experts alike, Drop of Colour’s exciting new kits provide(s) escapism from hectic schedules, whilst encouraging creativity amongst its’ users.

From pastel, to neutral shades, to cactus designs, – there’s a painting kit to suit every home and style: each kit comes with everything you need: high-quality paper, a design reference, numbered paints, and paint brushes to get your artistic juices flowing.

And with so many people across the nation still working from home, it’s more important now than ever before, – to step away, and take some much deserved (and needed) time out from the hustle and bustle. As well as the fulfilment that painting and crafting can bring, taking time to engage in creativity has been proven to help reduce anxiety, and improve your mental health, as well as increasing your overall health and wellbeing.

Set up by two art enthusiasts (Maria Terzieva and her partner Mario), – Drop of Colour was Founded in April 2020 with the goal of teaching and inspiring people to develop and use their artistic skills, by providing them with the tools they need to make beautiful artwork that can then be framed in your home or office space, or instead: given to friends and family as a gift.

“Me and my partner decided to launch Drop of Colour to encourage people to bring out their creative side and take some me-time. We’re both passionate about art, and we find pleasure through painting and making our own creations. We want others to experience the same joy that we get from slowing down and taking time to paint. Our range of kits are suitable for all levels of experience, and they’re perfect for completing in your own time, or enjoying with friends.”

Prior to launching Drop of Colour, Maria and Mario both worked in Digital Marketing for 5+ years. They used art as an outlet for mindfulness and relaxation. Maria has been drawing since her childhood, and for the past eleven years, she’s been creating commissioned portraits and landscapes in pastel and watercolour medium.

During the pandemic, the couple saw that through art, they were coping better during lock-down compared to their friends and family, and this is how Drop of Colour was born. The couple decided to come up with a new way for others to use creativity as a tool to unwind, calm their minds and cope better with the anxieties surrounding COVID-19.

Since then, Drop of Colour has seen a 54% increase in sales in January 2021, compared to December 2020, and a 161% increase in sales in May 2021 compared to the previous month, along with receiving their first major corporate order.
