Curb Your Stress With Awesome Botanical’s Holistic Products

Awesome Botanical (launched by Natalie Dawson during a period of uncertainty) is a holistic skincare brand that revives, energises, and “eases away stress.”

Natalie Dawson (who suffered from anxiety during lock-down) launched the start-up during a time when she felt “lost, with not a lot to do.” Armed with lots of enthusiasm, she began to study, and research cosmetics with her newly-found free time.

Combined with her love for essential oils, she began to make her own products to help her to feel more energised in a world that seemed so “full of doom and gloom.” The result? After giving some of her samples to her family, the feedback was so positive, that it drove her to launch “Awesome Botanical.”

Six months after launching, her brand was selected to hold a pop-up shop in the iconic Fenwick Newcastle Store, and in February 2021, they were shortlisted by Top Sante UK in their “2021 Body Care Awards,” with their Citrus Humbug Foot Balm.

15 months on, and with the world starting to open back up again, Awesome Botanical has grown their wholesale business, with a whole list of stockists in the UK to boast. They’ve also shipped their products globally to the US, and they have plans to roll-out their products into the EU before the end of this year (2021).

The Awesome Botanical range includes: whipped soaps, bath bombs, skincare products, a sweet orange whipped soap, and more. They’ve also just released a brand new range of pamper gifts sets, and a Christmas range.

Awesome Botanical’s Founder, Natalie Dawson left school at the age of 16.

She spent a large portion of her career working for various North East-based engineering companies in procurement. And in 2019, she re-joined the family shop-fitting business, Kad Retail as a director. But with the retail sector being forced to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic, unfortunately, their contractors were put on hold, and it was this that caused Natalie’s anxiety issues.

“We have received 250+ 5* reviews since launching. We’re extremely proud of what we have achieved, especially with our recent Theo Paphitis’ #SBS win,” said Natalie.
