In her early 20’s, Keira Rumble was diagnosed as a pre-diabetic (insulin-resistant), and she was forced to quickly change her lifestyle and eating habits.

During this time, Keira decided to study nutrition, to gain a deeper understanding of WHY her body was reacting to certain foods. She focused her attention on the link between sugar and poor health, and she discovered that the supermarket aisles and health food stores who were offering “healthier alternatives,” were riddled with lies.

Keira became increasingly more frustrated and disappointed at the lack of transparency, and at the low availability of tasty, low sugar snacks, so she decided to do something about it. Together, with a team nutritionists and food scientists, Keira has developed some of the world’s first-to-market products, including Beauty Bites.

Prior to launching Krumbled Foods, Keira had a successful career at a digital marketing agency in Sydney. She worked passionately for many years as a freelance recipe developer, and as a food photographer.
