BLUEBAT Has Successfully Funded Their Battery-Charging Device On Kickstarter.
BLUEBAT has successfully achieved their Kickstarter campaign goal to fund their BLUEBAT charging device, – which is now available for purchase.
While most phone accessory brands make phones look good on the outside, BLUEBAT decided to take on the challenge of tackling an issue that lies within.
The Leicester based start-up, BLUEBAT, – turned to Kickstarter to raise funds, – to create the FIRST EVER device of its kind, which addresses our common battery woes, when it comes to our smartphones. After a successful campaign on Kickstarter, the device is now ready for purchase. This means that smartphone users who are frustrated with replacing their batteries, – will now have access to a dynamic device that extends battery life, moving forward.
Prior to embarking on the journey towards creating the BLUEBAT charging-device, inventors, Ashraf Mahomed and Asim Chaudhri, – conducted a study which revealed that over a third of respondents felt as though they were charging their phones too often, and for too long.
Two thirds of respondents were concerned about battery damage, overheating, and overcharging, – and only one in ten participants kept their phones at the recommended 40-80% charge.
Developed in the United Kingdom (with the help of a Leicester-based design house, – Bluefrog Design), – the BLUEBAT BB-101 is an new innovative charging device designed to help extend the life of smartphone batteries, and boost overall battery performance. The device also mitigates other issues, such as overheating, overcharging and safety. Users can also choose their charging duration, and when to start charging.
